Summary. We are a comparison and quote-matching service. When you ask to compare quotes, we share the details you give us with licensed insurers and agents so they can prepare a quote. We do not sell insurance ourselves.
Information we collect
We collect what you submit in a quote request, such as your trade, state, ZIP code, business details, name, email, and phone number. We also collect limited technical data automatically, including IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the source that brought you to the site. When you submit a request we record your consent choices, the consent text shown to you, and a timestamp.
How we use it
- To match your request to licensed insurers and agents that cover your trade and state.
- To share your request with those matched providers so they can contact you with a quote.
- To operate, secure, and improve the site.
- To meet legal, recordkeeping, and consent-verification obligations.
How we share it
We share your quote request with the licensed insurers, agencies, or marketing partners matched to you. Those providers act as independent controllers of your information once they receive it, and their own privacy policies govern how they use it. We may also share data with service providers who host or support the site, and as required by law.
Consent to contact
By submitting a request and checking the consent box, you agree that the matched providers may contact you about your quote by phone, text, and email using the number and address you provide, including by automated means where permitted. Consent is not a condition of any purchase, and you can withdraw it at any time. See our consent and disclosures page.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information, or to stop sharing it, by emailing support@tradesinsured.com. Depending on your state, you may have rights to know, delete, correct, or opt out of certain sharing. We honor those requests as the law requires and do not discriminate against you for making one.
Data retention
We retain quote requests and the related consent records for up to four years to verify consent and meet legal obligations, unless you ask us to delete sooner and we are permitted to do so.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar tools to run the site, remember preferences, and measure traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Children
The site is for business owners and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
